2018年12月18日，以色列驻广州总领事馆经济与商务领事Shirly Coifman女士出席了尚灵(Sarine)钻石科技集团与"一带一路"泛珠宝时尚产业联盟(JFIA)签约仪式并致辞。以下是领事讲话的主要内容：

Jewelry trade is the most important commercial aspect of "Ancient Silk Road". More than 2,000 years ago, the Chinese people began to exchange information between the east and the west through sea and land trade channels. More than 30 kinds of jewels, were traded between Asia and Europe.

珠宝贸易是 "古代丝绸之路" 最重要的商业形式。两千多年前, 中国人民开始通过海上和陆地贸易渠道沟通东方和西方的信息。超过30多种珠宝在亚洲和欧洲之间进行交易。

In the medieval times, Jews in Europe prohibited from possessing lands, cultivating crops and suffering from other occupational restrictions, as always found a solution to survive. They would trade in Diamonds and Gemstones: They have developed expertise in processing diamonds and precious stones and they were highly trusted in their trade. It made them flexible, being able to travel or flee when persecuted with all their possessions in their pockets. In 1930s, those same Jews came to Israel and has established the diamonds industry in Israel, which is known today as the world leading Diamond trading center in Ramat-Gan.

在中世纪，欧洲的犹太人被禁止拥有土地、种植作物，也被限制从事其他职业，因此他们总要找到生存下去的办法。他们开始从事钻石和宝石贸易：他们积累了钻石和宝石加工的专业知识，在贸易中备受信任。价值高的珠宝让他们便于携带出行，万一受到驱逐，他们可以在口袋里装上所有的财产逃跑或前往其他地方。20世纪30年代时，这些犹太人来到以色列，并在以色列建立了钻石工业，造就了今天被称世界领先的钻石贸易中心的拉玛特甘。

The “Belt and Road” initiatives symbolizes the intersection of these two ancient histories, two people together as well as two eras: ancient and the new era. It has provided us with an opportunity to promote the human community and our future through the “Jewelry Extended Fashion Industry Alliance”. The platform of JFIA will promote industrial upgrades and interactions ranging from raw material extraction to deep processing of jewelry, marketing strategic, and fashion art design.

“一带一路”倡议象征着这两种古老历史的交集，两国人民相聚，以及两个时期：古代和现代的交融。“珠宝时尚产业联盟”能够促进建立“一带一路“所提倡的人类命运共同体，让我们的未来更美好。JFIA的平台将推动一系列产业升级和互动，从原材料提取到珠宝深加工、从营销战略到时尚艺术设计等等。

Sarine is the typical example of Israeli expertise and perfection combining long tradition with high-tech environment of the Innovation nation.

尚灵钻石科技公司是以色列的专业知识和臻求完美相结合的典型例子，它把以色列这个创新国度的传统与的高科技生态完美结合。

On behalf of Israel’s Ministry of Economy and industry and the consulate General of Israel in Guangzhou I’m happy to be here today to support Sarine in its new membership to JFIA. I’m confident that this is a win-win that will ignite more successful cooperation in trade between Israel and China. And diamond is a beautiful start.
